Our story goes back to when I was competing in the World Ski Championships….

Frequent anti-doping controls prevented me, as a high-level athlete, from using traditional medicines. For example, a simple cough syrup could cause a positive anti-doping test. So naturally, I turned to aromatherapy and natural healing methods in order to relieve myself of the little ailments of everyday life. For example, my knee rehabilitation was done in sulfur-rich clay baths in Turkey.

After years of being exposed to the cold, wind, and sun, my skin developed a sensitivity and intolerance to synthetic ingredients. I realized that my cosmetic routines were causing my body to react. It was then, that I started to develop my first homemade formulas.

Both my training with some of the greatest Swiss botanists and my passion for the mountains led to the creation, in 2010, of my own DIY workshop ‘’SNÖ Beauty Lab’’ located in Talloires by Lake Annecy. My goal with ‘’SNÖ Beauty Lab’’ has been to coach people on how to create their own natural treatments. 

SNÖ Eternelle was born from a personal mission- to develop a 100% natural and organic solution that is essential for the care of sensitive skin. In addition to my values of self-discipline and respect, mastering the virtues of plants and incorporating that into my brand, is a legacy from my years of competing..

    Cold saponified soap. My SNÖ Bioflowers cleansing treatment is a true luxury from ancestral artisanal methods. It is a cold saponified soap, which is 100% plant-based. All the ingredients come from Organic Farming *. In making the soap, it is first dried for a period of 8 weeks through a rare and artisanal production process.

    This 100% natural facial cleanser is also a natural moisturizing treatment. This soap is 8% superfat and draws its benefits from the exceptional ingredients: Macadamia *, Olive * vegetable oil, Mauve des Bauges extract, Pink clay, Shea butter * and Coconut oil *. Coconut oil is used to obtain the soap foam. All the ingredients are rich in Omega 9 and palmitoleic acid. These active ingredients are very nourishing, soothing, protective and softening. This soap helps to promote a clear and supple skin by restoring softness and elasticity to the skin.

    Without synthetic perfume or coloring, it is particularly suitable for fragile and delicate skin. 

    An economical return to the source – the soap is equivalent to 500 ml of liquid soap and 100% biodegradable.

    Handcrafted “SAF” (saponifié à froid – cold saponification) by our master soap maker L’Essentiel – Cléry, holder of the Nature & Progrès label. 

     

    The cold saponified soap is extra gentle and suitable for all skin types as well as the whole family. It is also good for washing the body without drying it out. It can be used for both sensitive and delicate skin. Additionally, the soap can be used for babies and children.

    Because the soap is rinsed off directly and it only contains very low concentrations of Lavender essential oil, the soap can be used during pregnancy and for children.

      Here are some common fatty acids and their properties:

      1: Polyunsaturated

      Alpha-linolenic acid (Omega 3)

      Anti-inflammatory and protective of the circulatory system. Helps relieve irritation and redness. Oils rich in Omega 3 are protective, nourishing and light. They are also quickly absorbed by the skin.

      Gamma-Linolenic Acid (Omega 6)

      Oils rich in Gamma Linolenic Acid are anti-inflammatory, and help repair and reduce the appearance of scars. They help treat skin problems like psoriasis and eczema. They are very effective both when taken orally and when applied to the skin.

      They help maintain hydration of the skin by preventing water loss and improving the barrier function of the skin. These oils absorb well without leaving any greasy residue.

      Oleic Acid (Omega 9)

      Omega 9 helps maintain skin elasticity and softness. 30% of the sebum is made of Omega 9. 

      These fatty acids are very compatible with sebum as they are semi-fluid and can penetrate the deeper layers of the skin. They keep the skin hydrated by creating a protective lipid film on the skin. These oils are anti-inflammatory and regenerative.

        USAGE:

        Nourishing facial treatment: Place a small amount of product in the palm of your hand before application and apply it to the skin with light circular movements, exerting light pressure to help it penetrate the skin. 

        Face Mask: Apply a tiny dab of balm to the face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.

        Face Make-up Remover: A creamy cleansing balm that turns into an oil to help dissolve make-up, while minimizing the appearance of blemishes and redness. Rinse with MON SOIN NETTOYANT.

        Eyelash and hair tip care: Using your finger, apply a tiny dab of balm to your bare eyelashes and wipe off the surplus using a cotton pad. For the hair, apply to the ends of your dry hair and leave on overnight. Rinse off with shampoo.
